Forest Hills High School was designed to provide Union County Public Schools with a modern, high-performing learning environment supported by reliable and efficient building systems. To help achieve this goal, Optima Engineering provided comprehensive commissioning services to verify that critical building systems were installed, tested, and operating in accordance with the project’s design intent.

Commissioning services included mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as building automation controls, utility metering, lighting and lighting controls, emergency and normal power, fire alarm interfaces, and technology systems, including data, intercom, and security. Through a collaborative commissioning process, Optima helped deliver a facility that promotes long-term performance, operational efficiency, and a safe, comfortable environment for students and staff.
