John W. Hodges Public Safety Center

The John W. Hodges Public Safety Center brings the Town of Hope Mills’ police and fire departments together under one roof, creating a modern, centralized facility that enhances emergency response and public service. The new 43,347 SF, two-story building includes administrative offices, training and support spaces, apparatus bays, and living quarters designed to meet the operational needs of both departments.

Optima Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for the project, delivering reliable, high-performance building systems for this Risk Category IV emergency services facility. The completed center provides resilient infrastructure that supports continuous operations and helps ensure first responders are equipped to serve the Hope Mills community.
