Michael Skok is a Technology Designer in the Charlotte office with over a decade of experience and an Electronics Technology Certificate from Guilford Technical Community College. He is responsible for designing the physical infrastructure (Layer 1) of the data network. This includes the technology spaces (Telecom Rooms: MDF, IDF, MPOE and white space in Data Centers); racks/cabinets, horizontal/vertical management, grounding, electrical, heating/cooling, UPS, pathway systems, inter-rack cabling, riser backbone cabling and structured cabling systems to the end users or devices. Skill set also includes designing underground maintenance hole/duct systems and backbone fiber/copper communications cable in campus environments.
