Optima provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for the NCSU Murphy Center Kitchen and Dining Renovation project encompassing an 8,500 SF renovation to modernize and enhance key areas of the Murphy Center focusing on the existing kitchen, dining facility, servery, and player lounge areas to better support the needs of Football Operations.

Key objectives included updating kitchen facilities to improve functionality and efficiency, integrating state-of-the-art food service equipment, and reconfiguring the dining and servery areas to provide a more seamless and engaging dining experience.

The renovation not only elevates the operational capabilities of the Murphy Center but also contributes to an enhanced experience for athletes and staff, aligning with the mission of excellence in NCSU’s athletic programs.
